New Website

We've been busy working on a new website, which hasn't left much time for new posts. We're redoing the entire site ..... new colours...new layout...new photos, so it'll look fresh. Also what's being added to the website is a proofing area for clients, where they can view their photographs. Our goal is to have the website up by the end of the month. Therefore, in the excitement of our new website, anyone who books a wedding or session will receive 15% off the package price. Remember, we still have dates available for 2008/2009.

Reporter/Photographer

When I first started working as a reporter and photographer in Leduc almost four years ago (even though I've moved on from there), we were using film. I was fresh out of J-school and everyone in the newsroom used film. While we quickly went digital within the year, here are my first photographs from that summer taken using a Nikon film camera.

This was a photograph I took at the junior high school where there was a track and field competition going on. This kid really jumped high and not straight into the air.

The outdoor pool always made for a good standalone photograph or "filler" for the newspaper when needed. I have to admit, it was a popular spot for some really good photos.

Nicole and Colin - Pemberton, B.C.

So now that I've promised to keep my blog updated, I've decided to go back and post photographs. Here are photographs from Nicole and Colin's wedding in June. The wedding was in Pemberton, B.C. (45-minutes from Whistler,B.C), so the beautiful mountain backdrop served for some awesome photographs.

Prince George, B.C.

My husband I spent last week in Prince George, B.C. (my hometown). It was a great visit and break from work. We spent the week shopping, eating, hanging out with family and eating some more. On one of the days we decided to go to the park near my parents house for a snowball fight which ultimately resulted in some funny photographs and some serious one. Here a few photographs of my younger sister and I'll be posting some from our snow disaster shortly. As we were getting ready to leave the sun was starting to set, and since my sister has always been more fashionable than me, I took a few pictures for my personal family album.
